What exactly is LocalFlirtCam?
LocalFlirtCam is a video chat site where you get matched one on one with a real girl on camera in seconds, from any browser. Beside the match screen there is an online list to pick from, a Live tab with girls streaming, voice and text modes, and clubs for group chat.
The site runs in any modern browser on phone, tablet or computer, and it can sit on your home screen like an app. You enter as a guest, so the distance between opening the page and saying hello to someone is a few seconds and one camera permission.
We are a small team that got tired of the same problem everyone complains about: sign up, fill in a profile, wait, and then wonder whether anyone on the other end is real. A live call answers that question in the first second, so we put the call first and built everything else around it.
Why the name Local Flirt Cam?
Each word does a job. Local is about the mood: the easy, unplanned hello you would try at the bar around the corner, not a form you fill in. Flirt is what most people come for, light and playful, with no script. Cam is the honest part: you see each other, live.
Put together and squashed into one word it becomes LocalFlirtCam, which is what you will see on the site and in the address bar. People shorten it all the time; whichever version you use, you end up here.
We liked that the name says what you get before you click: something casual, something a little flirty, and a camera.
One thing the name does not mean is distance. The match is random and worldwide, which is exactly why there is always somebody online. We would rather be clear about that than borrow a promise we cannot keep.
What is on the site
Every feature exists to get you into a real conversation faster or to keep that conversation comfortable.
- The match screen. One tap, one girl, video by default, with voice and text on the same switch. Next ends a call for both of you.
- The online list. Faces that are around right now. Open a profile to follow, message or call her directly.
- Live streams. Watch, comment, send a gift and ask for a 1v1 from inside the stream.
- Clubs. Group chats with messages, photos and short videos; join directly, by application or by invitation.
- Translation. Typed messages can be translated automatically when you do not share a language.
- Short clips. A feed of short videos from the girls, a low-key way to see someone before you ever call her.
- Follows and messages. Follow someone during a call, then message or call her from her profile another day.
- Coins and VIP. Coins pay for matches after the free ones and for gifts; VIP is an optional membership you can see on the match screen.
- The home-screen app. The site as an icon, explained on the app page.
Why no swiping, maps or questionnaires?
No swiping. No profile questionnaires. No inbox full of messages from people you never see. No distance, map or city filter pretending the person is down the road. We skipped all of it on purpose, and we would make the same call again tomorrow.
Those features were left out because each one adds a layer between you and an actual conversation. A questionnaire delays the hello. A map invents closeness that is not there. An inbox of messages from faces you never see is exactly what makes people ask whether a site is real in the first place.

Girls from more than 50 countries, on their own evenings. About a fifth of users are in the US, and the UK, Germany, Canada and France are among the bigger groups after that. That spread is why the site stays busy: when it is midnight in one place, the evening is only starting in another.
Some of the girls stream in the Live tab; many simply chat on the match screen like you do. What they have in common is that they are real people on a live camera, and they expect the same respect you would show anyone you just met. How we run it day to day
We read reports and act on them, limiting or removing accounts that break the rules. We review every new club before it opens. We keep the coin screen clear about prices before you pay, and we answer support email, including the awkward ones about charges and deletions.
Day to day, a lot of our work is unglamorous: keeping calls connecting quickly in every region, making sure the site loads fast on older phones, fixing the odd browser that blocks the microphone, and reading feedback about what people want next.
